    2. Self-rescue methods when drowning:

    1. Don't panic, call for help immediately when you find someone around you;

    2. Relax the whole body, let the body float on the water, lift the head out of the water, kick the water with the feet to prevent physical loss, and wait for rescue;

    3. When the body sinks, the palm can be pressed down;

    4. If you have a sudden cramp in the water and you cannot get to the shore, call for help immediately. If there is no one around, take a deep breath and dive into the water, straighten the cramped leg, and pull the toes up with your hands to relieve the cramp.

    3. Rescue methods when someone is found to be drowning:

    Lifebuoys, bamboo poles, wooden boards and other objects can be thrown to the drowning person, and then dragged to the shore; if there is no rescue equipment, it can be directly rescued by entering the water. When approaching a drowning person, turn his hips away from you and haul. When hauling, sidestroke or backstroke hauling methods are usually used.

    It is especially emphasized that minors who find someone drowning should not venture into the water to rescue them. They should call for help immediately, or use life-saving equipment to rescue them, and minors are not encouraged to go into the water to rescue them.

    4. Under what circumstances should not swim

    1. It is not advisable to go out to swim alone.

    2. Those who are sick should not go swimming, those with chronic diseases such as otitis media, skin diseases, liver and kidney, heart disease, eye disease, and those with colds, fever, mental fatigue, and physical weakness should not go swimming, so as not to aggravate the disease and cause accidents.

    3. After participating in strenuous physical labor or strenuous exercise, do not jump into the water for swimming immediately when sweating profusely, otherwise it will easily cause cramps, colds and other diseases.

    4. Contaminated waters, rivers and lakes with unknown water conditions are not suitable for swimming.

    5. It is not advisable to swim in bad weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, sudden changes in weather, etc.
